We are a small Derbyshire team, which means the people discussing the job understand the practical side of collecting, loading and delivering it.
Darren founded the business after years of practical transport work and being the person friends and family relied on for awkward collections and smaller moves. Raised around Derby, he knows the surrounding towns well and still handles day-to-day jobs rather than running the company entirely from behind a desk.
Leah grew up near Belper and keeps the details of bookings, timings and collection instructions organised. She is particularly good at spotting the small access questions that can save a lot of trouble on moving day, and outside work she spends much of her spare time walking around the Derwent Valley.
Callum is from the Ilkeston area and works alongside Darren on moves, furniture jobs and business deliveries. He has a practical background and enjoys the variety of never knowing whether the next load will be a flat move, an exhibition stand or one very awkward dining table.
Most jobs start with the same questions: what needs moving, where is it now, where is it going and what is the access like? We would rather know about the awkward staircase or oversized wardrobe beforehand than discover it after arriving.
On the day, we focus on sensible loading, clear communication and getting the agreed items to the destination without unnecessary fuss. Because we are a small team, the details discussed when the job is arranged stay close to the people actually carrying out the work.
